Can you add another view that is Map View, showing all events in a map, better yet if represented as heatmap.

Map View and heatmap sounds good, but how would you like to map events on a "date" background. In other words what should the dimensions of the background be? Date/time is a single dimension and for a heatmap we need two.
More details please.

If using Google Maps they charge for request's using their API. One site I use got a bill of $500.00 U.S. after they changed their policy.
