Hi roel,
thanks for your input. I have rearranged my categories:
One Room category which has several subcategories and "not allowed to overlap with the same category" works as intended.
User has to put a 3 letter short-code for further identification. All other categories are allowed to overlap. Thats the way it works for me.
I guess my way of thinking before was to "not allowed to overlap with subcategories"
Best regards
Willi
Thanks for all your time.
It works with "no time", which would be a workaround for the presence Problem which is only for information who is available that day.
But it does not help with "different category, same room problem". So i guess either i have to rethink my categories or roel has a genius idea for this in code.
Again thanks for your time and "brains"
Willi
Thanks for your answers,
Let me try to explain the goal i wish to reach.
Some categories happen to start at overlapping times but in different places, these are no problem.
Some categories are different from each other but happen in the same place, these should be not allowed to overlap.
I do not know if its possible via configuration or if it has to done in code to have a list -> overlap not allowed.
Hope this sets things a little clearer.
Willi
Actually we do have different event categories, happening in the same place. Overlapping should not be allowed.
Overlap with whole day events which are not fixed to a special place should be allowed.
I dont know how to have this behaviour happening.
Any help would be appreciated
Willi
