Hi Stefan,
I went through the code in detail and have solved the problem.
In the Add/Edit Event window and in the Day Marker window it is now possible to use single and double quotes in the Title field without the problems mentioned in your post above.
Four files have been changed (minor changes). I will send you the changed files by email tonight, which is easier than listing all the changes here.

If someone else reads this thread and would like to have the changed files as well, just drop me an email.

Greetings, Roel

Hey Roel,

I hope, this was not discussed before - if so, sorry!

In Germany we use double quotation marks a lot and some users would like to have them in the title of an event too. Luxcal is doing this correct and all possible characters are stored in the db and retrieved well when showing an event.

The anoying thing is: opening the event window and give the title an double quotation mark. Then change the category (what refreshes the window) and the quotation mark and all behind is gone.

Cant find the code, which is triggering this behavior...

Greetings, Stefan
