Yes - you are right - I miss te new features!
But - perhaps you remember - I have my very own 'marvelous features' ![]()
My "flexible fields" work like a charme! As much fields of different kinds as you like.
Further more I can assign special functions (duties or responsibilities) to users for events and even can get a duty roster out of the calendar ![]()
When I read the last problem here in the forum from we32 about overlapping of some categories and his usecase for some kind of room reservations, I was thinking of my flexible fields, which would serve such things very well...
But I'm afraid of "releasing" my version in some way because of being only a "hobby programmer". Maintaining such a project feels to risky to me. And most of all: it is still 5.2.1 ![]()
Whish you "Happy Coding" for the new version!
Stefan
Hello Stefan,
Yes, you are right, this is a (little) bug.
Thank you for reporting this problem, that's very kind. As you wrote, this will maybe seldom happen, but we want the LuxCal calendar to be as perfect as possible ![]()
Next month I will most probably issue a new calendar version. This new version will be mainly a "bug fix" version.
Still using version 5.2.1! So you are missing all these new marvelous features
Greetings form Belgium
Hello Roel,
first I have to admit, that I am still not using the newest version of luxcal. For me it ist 5.2.1
But I found a problem which might still be there.
It is the first time, I am using the notification and send email functions and stumbled upon some user getting his email send to an address, which ist not his current one.
So I looked into the database and found, that this user was deletet and later added again with the same username but a different email-address.
So there are two entries in the table - one with status = -1.
But the messaging functions/queries are not checking for status != -1
I had a fast look into the new version and perhaps it is in messaging.php on line 59 where this bug still exists...?!?!
Of course this is a very special and seldom problem, but perhaps you take a look at this.
Greatings from germany!
