Topic: Installation problem, SELinux and Permission

Hello everybody,

I installed LuxCal on a CentOS 7 VM.

I have encountered a problem when I wanted to create for the first time my calendar. When I finish to fill the install form and click on the test button I get the following warning messages: Test failed : Writing to the calendar's root folder, Check file permissions on your server. Writing to the 'files' folder, Check file permissions on your server. Writing an empty sql.log and an empty luxcal.log file to the 'logs' folder, Check file permissions on your server.

So I have been searching the problem for a while and found out that the problem occurs when the SELinux is activate, when I do a setenforce 0 it's working.

Do you know why it's working when SELinuw is deactivated and doesn't work when activated ? Do you know how to make it working when SELInux is activated ?

Thank you very much.
