Hi All,

I installed the amazing LuxCal on my wampserver and it worked great.

I am now putting the website live online and i had a few problems so i tried to delete it all and install it again.

An error came up to check the SQL log file.

This is the error:

Hi there,

Yeah, this is a known problem. Recently - probably because of a new MySQL version - a problem with default values of fields of type TEXT occur.
We've solved this problem in the next LuxCal version, which will be release end of this month, which doesn't help you now.
There are two possible solutions . . .
1. You install the SQLite version of LuxCal 4.4.0, which doesn't have this problem and has exactly the same functionality as the MySQL version. Once the LuxCal 4.5.0 is released, you can always export the SQLite database and import it in the MySQL database (with my help, if needed),
or
2. You send me your email address (via the Contact Us page) and I will send you an updated file with a fix.
