Hi Roel,

Any idea why emails sent from my online calendar suddenly have a timestamp of 01:00 01/01/1970 on them?

I haven't made any changes recently,  perhaps it may not be the calendar of course.

Hi John,

The time on Unix and Linux servers is expressed in "number of seconds since 01/01/1970" (type "01/01/1970" in Google and you'll get many hits), so I assume the date/time on the server running your calendar has (accidentally) been reset.
The calendar, via PHP, takes its dates/times from the server time.
Normally your provider should notice this anomaly very quickly and correct it asap. I therefore expect the problem to be solved next time you receive reminder emails from your calendar.
If the problem persists, let me know and I will write a small script to test the server date/time.

Regards, Roel

Hi John,

We'll try to solve this anomaly. I will see if I can send you a small test script tonight. (I still have your email address)
