HI there,

Have been happily running 2.7.3 and decided today to upgrade to 3.1.2.

Followed the instructions following the upgrade existing installation, as I have done several times in the past.. but the calendar refuses to show.

When I call the calendar in the browser, I see the error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function validPar() in /home/vol4_5/byethost9.com/b9_2951756/htdocs/calendar/index.php on line 26

/home/vol4_5/byethost9.com/b9_2951756/htdocs/calendar
is my root folder on the host.

Any ideas what is going wrong?

thanks in anticipation,

Allan

Done a little digging and don't know whether this helps...

Looking in the MySQL.log, I see:

2013-11-02T16:42:03+00:00
Script name: /index.php
MySQL error: Table 'b9_2951756_GTC._settings' doesn't exist
Query string: SELECT name, value FROM _settings

When I check on the host web site at the SQL Database, the structure includes a table:
`mycal_settings`

Running install312.php shows that the database is all configured correctly...

Mystifying...

Hi Allen,

In the fatal error in your first post, the function "validPar" is undefined.
However, the function "validPar" is not used anymore in LuxCal 3.1.2! So your index.php file launched by the browser must be a LuxCal 2.7.x file.
I'm afraid something went wrong during the upload of the new LuxCal 3.1.2 files and folders to your server.

Roel,

thank you for the pointer!... and a great catch!

I guess that the transmission was interrupted or something... so I deleted the contents of the root directory and started again!

This time everything is working as it should.

Only issue is that I had a feed of upcoming events on the Home page of the site and this is now smaller than it should be.. so I am investigating that issue.

Thanks once again.

regards

Allan
