This is from my apache2 error.log:

PHP Parse error:  syntax error, unexpected 'foreach' (T_FOREACH) in /var/www/kaaoskalenteri_v3/views/dw_functions.php on line 99, referer:

I wanted to change Date format (weekday dd month yyyy) and other time formats.
Whatever I try to change the UI gives me this "wrong format" or something. Seems like it is impossible to change these at all!
What can I do now?

I put my site address there but remember to add the port :9418 if you want to visit.. there is no appointments currently in my calendar. Is this the reason I get that errormsg?

Hi there,

What date format did you enter? If you want dd mm yyyy, you should enter "d m y". I tried this in our test calendars and it worked fine.

If you still have problems, give me some further details please.

WD d M y ---> WD d m y  --doesnt work!
WD d M y ---> WD d. M y --does work.

That's correct, the lowercase 'm' in 'WD d m y' is not allowed. What's allowed is specified in the hover help text.

What I wanted to achieve, is:
in the "upcoming" page, where there is a nice looking list of upcoming events,
I would like to have it show the short format date ('saturday' becomes 'sat', and 'month' becomes 'mo'),

But instead is there any suggestion how I could achieve this?

---sorry to ask, but this would solve me some other problems :)

There is no separate setting for this, so a small change is required:

In the file views/upcoming.php change line 27 from:

  $evtDate = $evt['mde'] ? makeD($evt['sda'],5)." - ".makeD($evt['eda'],5) : makeD($date,5);

  $evtDate = $evt['mde'] ? makeD($evt['sda'],5,1)." - ".makeD($evt['eda'],5,1) : makeD($date,5,1);

In other words add ',1' to the parameter list of the makeD function (3x).

Thanks, this works! However, there is also another place except upcoming.php..
in navbar there is "Upcoming" button which opens a kindof popup menu. I need to change that too. That was in canvas/header1.php ..
No. Actually i needed to edit rssfeed.php... huh :)
Nice work Roel!
