It reads like it should be so simple but I'm not having any luck.

This is a website I'm setting up for a hockey club and they have asked to have the sidebar in the main page. LuxCal is installed in /schedule

Here is what I have added to the header of index.htm.

Code:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://hnphockeylondon.ca/schedule/css/css_sbar.php">
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://hnphockeylondon.ca/schedule/common/toolbox.js"></script>

This is what I have added to the body of index.htm.

Code:

<?php
include 'http://hnphockeylondon.ca/schedule/lcsbar.php';
?>

If I run the line by it's self it works. http://hnphockeylondon.ca/schedule/lcsbar.php

Can someone take a look at it for me please and let me know what the heck I'm doing wrong? Here is the site. http://hnphockeylondon.ca

Thanks
Dan

I feel like such an idiot. Your file has to be a php file not a html file. As soon as I renamed it to a php file it worked perfectly.

I recall elsewhere in the forum this has come up.

Note to Roel, It might be worth adding that into the Installation and Configuration file, if using the sidebar to include php to rename the html file to a php file.

Hi Dan,
Yes, you are right. I have plans to improve the LuxCal documentation and I will certainly add some words on how to get a web page served by PHP.
