LuxCal Forum / General / Problems / Can't save settings - incorrect URL
Posted:  04 Jul 2013 12:39   Last Edited By: Roel B.
Hi, I downloaded and installed last version available. Things seem good, but as administrator when I enter the setting section I can't save any preference (e.g. language) because after pressing save button I have an error message (missing or incorrect setting) regarding the URL of the calendar.
Even if I don't make any change and just press save with all the default values, I get the error message.
The default URL value is that typed during installation, at the moment is 'localhost' since I m testing the calendar locally, and the folder is 'luxcal', so the default URL appears like 'http://localhost/luxcal/?cal=mycal'  but seems it is not accepted.
How can I fix?
Note: I previously installed in another server, always locally, a 2.6 release and I didn't have any problem.

OK,
it looks like it is still an open issue.

Thanks JL.

Hello Angelo,
To solve this problem, change in the file common/toolbox.php line 20 . . .
from

Code:

$rxCalURL = '~^(https?://)?.+\.[a-z]{2,6}(/.*)$~i'; //http://www.mysite.xxx/mycal/calendar.php

into

Code:

$rxCalURL = '~^(https?://)?(.+\.[a-z]{2,6}|localhost|(?:\d{1,3}.){3}\d{1,3})(/.*)$~i'; //http://www.mysite.xxx/mycal/calendar.php (www.mysite.xxx | localhost |ip address)

Hi there,

I assume the calendar URL is not accepted when you try to save the settings.

Please send me by email (or post here) the full URL which is not accepted, so that I can analyze why it's not accepted.
Thereafter I will give you a solution to the problem.
